System managers of production operations have resources such as labor, capital, land, materials, energy, machinery, and equipment available for producing products. Unused capacity in businesses at a macro level has a negative impact on productivity and reduces profitability. At a national level, unused capacity in production companies results in the national capital not being utilized properly and decreases overall productivity in industries. Additionally, some industrial investors and production system managers always aim to create a new industrial unit or increase production capacity, requiring cash and financial resources. To connect and share resources between industrial units with unused resources on one side and production systems in need on the other, the concept of “sharing economy” can be used. It is predicted that the sharing economy will be worth US$300 billion worldwide by 2025.
